Safe Maintenance - Isolation (LOTO)The CourseThis course is based on legal requirements of Safe isolation, HSE Industry guidance, Safe maintenance guidance and applicable EN Standards. It will help to satisfy the requirements for training as required in the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (MHSWR) 1999 for those who are working in areas where Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) programs are in place, or whose job requires them to actually do the LOTO and isolate the energy sources for safe maintenance. MHSWR requires that managers of equipment requiring LOTO for safe maintenance put in place Safe Systems Of Work (SSOW) that ensure the task can be completed safely.
