Warren Spiers founded Spiers Engineering Safety in 2011 with a vision to create a consultancy with a difference. Since then, Spiers Engineering Safety has gone from strength to strength developing an established brand in the industry, offering expertise in all areas of machine safety.
Graduated Aston University in 2001 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering following a successful apprenticeship with Cincinnati Milacron, a machine tool builder based in Birmingham.
After completion of a graduate teacher training position he returned to industry to use his machine tool experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to progress a career in machine safety. He has worked for industry leaders such as Castell (trap key interlocking), Safety Systems Technologies and Laidler Associates.
In 2011 Warren created Spiers Engineering Safety (Spiers Ltd) and was very happy to share this new venture with Mike Armstrong (former Laidler) as Technical Director. Together they offer comprehensive services in CE marking, PUWER, Machine Safety Training and Engineering Audits.
