We have built up a respectful customer portfolio since we started up in 2011. From smaller companies who have just a few machines in a workshop, to larger manufacturing plants with multiple assembly lines, we have a wide range of experience! Take a look through the case studies below to see how we have helped support our customers to achieve their Machine Safety objectives.
Training is at the heart of Spiers’ approach to improving industry awareness and competencies. We want to support new and existing clients in developing and maintaining their competencies in house. In order to provide this support we are running regular Machine Safety Training and workshops.
"It was very useful to learn that the definition of ‘reasonably foreseeable misuse’ includes any reported misuse within the industry. Warren is a very good speaker; extremely knowledgeable and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the session."
Sarah Bendon - Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Welfare Officer, Whitehall Printing Company
"The knowledge learnt from this workshop will help me to get more involved with PUWER assessments and give me a better understanding of challenging machine safety issues. Warren was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful"
Nathan Whitney - SHE Advisor, Kelloggs
"Thank you so much for the training, it was really useful, I feel we got a really good comprehensive explanation of CE, PUWER and generally the standards which are applicable in our daily work. We got a good understanding on the matter of declaration of CE on our machinery and on which way to investigate further to improve our processes"

"The Guarding topic was particularly useful. This is really valuable when risk assessing food and standard equipment. The delivery was superb! It was well related to H&S standards which I’m interested in."
David Brady, H&S Manager, Greencore, Evercreech
"The one thing I will take away from this workshop is that I will be more confident in challenging different departments. I liked that the session was open to chat and not watching PowerPoint slides"
